Kavli Lecture: Daniel Baker

With support from the Kavli Foundation, the science program at every AAS meeting gets under way on Monday morning with the Kavli Foundation Lecture by a distinguished astronomer. In Seattle the honor went to Daniel Baker (University of Colorado), whose presentation was entitled "New Results About the Earth's Van Allen Radiation Belts." Baker was introduced by AAS President Meg Urry (Yale University).
