Press Office

As usual, the AAS Press Office was a busy place throughout the meeting. Press Officer Rick Fienberg and Deputy Press Officers Inge Heyer and Larry Marschall helped several dozen onsite press registrants find their way to the most newsworthy results being presented in Boston, and the journalists responded by filing large numbers of stories, even while the meeting was still in progress. The press area was somewhat isolated from the rest of the meeting venue, but it meant there were ample opportunities to conduct interviews in relative peace and quiet.
