Amateur Talks

In addition to the regularly scheduled science talks, in Boston on Tuesday there were two presentations designed especially for amateur astronomers, who were invited to attend the meeting that day to mingle with their professional counterparts. Jason Kendall (William Paterson University) organized the talks, which were given by David Latham ("The Search for Habitable Worlds") and Alicia Soderberg ("Supernova Forensics"), both from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
