RAS Reception

Late Wednesday afternoon the UK Royal Astronomical Society hosted a reception for AAS-meeting attendees who also happen to be RAS members. That evening the winner of the RAS Gold Medal, Roger Blandford (Stanford University), gave his prize lecture.
