Press Tour

On Friday morning, 9 January, a group of press registrants went on a behind-the-scenes tour of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Participants saw components of the James Webb Space Telescope coming together in the world’s largest cleanroom and heard a special presentation from Program Scientist Eric Smith (NASA Headquarters) and Senior Project Scientist and Nobel Prize winner John Mather (NASA Goddard).
